My Request is Stuck. What Should I Do?

Step-by-Step

  1. Check Your Current Request Stage

    • Navigate to My Housing Request(s) via the sidebar or header.

    • Locate the Progress Tracker at the top of your request detail page.

    • Note which stage your request is currently in (e.g., Requesting, Finding Matches, Matches Found).

  2. Review Any Action Required Indicators

    • Look for orange alert badges or "Action Required" labels on your request.

    • Common blockers include:

      • Incomplete profile information

      • Missing required documents

      • Unfinished application steps

  3. Complete Outstanding Profile Steps

    • If you see a "Complete Your Profile" panel, click Resume Application.

    • The panel shows which steps remain (About You, Employment, Upload Docs, Preferences).

    • Complete each step to unlock the next stage.

  4. Check Document Status

    • Go to Documents from the sidebar.

    • Ensure all required documents are in Verified or Under Review status.

    • Re-upload any documents marked as Rejected.

  5. Wait for Review Timeframes

    • Sourcing stage: 1-3 business days (Long-term inquiries)

    • Application review: 24-48 hours

    • Landlord confirmation: 2-5 business days

  6. Contact Support If Needed

    • If your request has been stuck for longer than expected, click Contact Support or use the Help menu.

    • Include your Request ID in your message.


What Happens Next

Once blockers are resolved, your request will automatically progress. You'll receive email and in-app notifications when the status changes.
