Document Requirements by Stay Type
The documents you need depend on the duration of your housing request.
Temporary Stays (Less than 12 months)
For temporary stays, you need only one document:

Government ID | Valid photo identification | Passport, EU national ID card, Luxembourg residence card |
This streamlined process allows for quick setup when you need housing for short-term assignments or projects.
Long-Term Rentals (12 months or more)
For long-term rentals, you need three categories of documents:
Category | Document | Description |
Identity Verification | Government ID / Passport | Valid passport, EU national ID, or Luxembourg residence card |
Employment Verification | Employment Contract or Letter | Current employment contract, recent employer letter |
Income Verification | Proof of Income | Last 3 payslips, bank statements |
Optional Documents
Regardless of stay type, you can also provide:
Document | Description | When to Provide |
Proof of Address | Utility bill, bank statement, or official correspondence (within 3 months) | When requested by the agency/landlord, or to strengthen your application |
Accepted File Formats
All documents must be uploaded in one of these formats:
JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg)
PNG (.png)
PDF (.pdf)
Maximum file size: 10MB per document
