Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Review the No Matches Panel

When no matches are found, you will see a dedicated panel on your request page.

The panel displays:

  • A message explaining that no properties matched your current criteria

  • Encouragement to adjust preferences

  • Action buttons

Step 2: Understand Why This Happened

No matches may occur for several reasons:

Explanation

Limited inventory

Fewer properties are available in your selected area at this time

Narrow criteria

Specific requirements (budget, size, pet policy) may reduce available options

High demand period

Popular times (e.g., September) may have fewer openings

Location restrictions

Some communes or neighborhoods have limited rental stock

This is not a reflection of your profile, it relates to current availability.

Step 3: Edit Your Request Preferences

Click the Edit Your Request Preferences button.

This takes you to the Profile or Preferences section where you can adjust:

  • Budget range

  • Location preferences

  • Household requirements (pets, parking, etc.)

  • Date flexibility

Step 4: Contact Support (If Needed)

If you are unsure what to change, click the Contact Support button.

An email draft will open addressed to [email protected] with your request ID.

Or

You can open the chatbox on the bottom right and communicate directly with us.

Describe your situation, and a team member will assist you.

Step 5: Wait for Updated Matches

After adjusting your preferences, return to the dashboard.

The StaysCo team will automatically search again based on your updated criteria.

You will receive a notification or email when new matches are available.


What Happens Next

  • If you adjust preferences, your request returns to the "Finding Matches" stage

  • The team searches again with your updated criteria

  • New matches (if found) will appear in the Matches section
